Teaching a new cat old tricks
You know what? I like drawing ‘Gnosis‘ way more than ‘Rhys’. Here are some more character redux pics of the old ‘Cat and Mouse‘ book I was working on. Now called ‘Gnosis’. Some of these will be finalized in a ‘Star wars’ esq promo poster.
Gods Stupid Little Creatures: Bunny
Bunny is a character from a very old comic I actually kinda finished called ‘ Gods Stupid Little Creatures’. He’s also the first thing I ever sculpted from wool. And he rides the ‘Jankasaurus rex’, so that’s pretty cool. Here’s a bunch of bunny stuff, including two pages from the ‘Gods Stupid Little Creatures’ thumbnails.
This comic was actually completed in 2003. Please forgive the art work, it’s old. I want to redo the whole thing in vector form but wool felting has taking the project down a different road…

Lets just take this time to say bye once again to Rhys the Cat and Terry the Mouse. Some of you might remember this poster (some of you have a copy). Just remember, all the other characters are remaining (plus a ton of new characters) and the story will pretty much be the same….just with out Cat and Mouse. So take this time to say your goodbyes. They’re at the front and center… Don’t worry, It’s not the end of these guys.(I’m sure you’re not worried)

Here is a wool felted ‘Gnosis the Cat’. This is a prototype and it’s going to get more of an ‘animated’ look next go round. But this puppy’s fun to pose! Kitty, I meant kitty.

For those of you who remember the project I started last year -’Cat and Mouse’,I just wanted to let you know I haven’t dropped it. Quite the contrary. There have been some major changes though. Everything is the same for the most part but there is no more cat and mouse. Just cat. Gnosis the cat.
Chronocide!
Chronocide. It’s the name of the first comic I’m posting. Very soon. Very very soon. It’s about existentialism, super string theory, theology, getting wasted beyond belief and screwing up time and space. But mainly it’s about getting wasted beyond belief and screwing up time and space. Here are some sketches of the main characters. Soooon.
