If it’s not “Toy Mech“, it’s work. But once again they put me on a project that I kinda enjoy. Without getting into the long story of it, the new showroom designs involve a room inspired by Louise Nevelson. So far I’ve cranked out three or four shows worth but It took finishing the New York showroom to make me appreciate it. Here’s some shots of that very showroom. Photos by Gordon Chou. Hugo (Lopez) made the stairs and the faux skylight.

Trees!!
Now you know how much I love trees. I got some serious ass love for trees. I spend most of my time working with trees and I think its only fit that my boss asked me to design and build a tree for the next Javits gift show. My little sister Chloe has been working with me in the shop for the last couple of weeks and she has been awesome in snapping shots of the making of it in small stages. Ifyou happen to be at the gift show this week then go to the two’s company booth and not only can you see the tree in its final baby play land set but you can also see the epic two’s booth that we put up twice a year. The burnt room is one of my favorites. I hand torched the walls myself… well, me and Joe. Joe rules.
Once I get a shot of the entire booth I’ll post it. I wanna show of my wall papering and decal skills that actually pay bills. It’s things like this that makes a five hour daily commute totally worth it.
